What We Do
Welcome! The Wild Bunch welcomes new businesses to Buffalo in a unique way, befitting the Wild West outlaw heritage of Johnson County: we hang ‘em!
Luau – Our annual fundraiser is a family fun event featuring music, dancing, roast pig, and a complimentary lei
Butch and Sundance – we are commissioning life-size bronze statues of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, to join other historical statues already present in Buffalo
Big Horn Mountain Music Festival – we ensure that all musicians and volunteers are well fed, in addition to selling our yummy roast pork sandwiches to Festival attendees.
Parades! Our imaginative (some might say outrageous) float entries are a staple in the Johnson County Fair & Rodeo Parade and the annual Christmas Parade.
Stick Horse Race – we organize this kids’ event as part of the Fair & Rodeo week festivities
Volunteers – Wild Bunch members gladly assist at many events throughout the year: Crazy Nights & Crazy Days, Oktoberfest, Pumpkin Festival, Monster March, Chili Feed, and more.
Donate! – money raised is funneled back into the community:
Recycle Week – we provide canvas bags to Buffalo’s elementary and secondary schools for the kids to decorate and then re-use
Festival of Trees – we decorate and donate a Christmas tree each year, which is then auctioned off in support of the Arts & Humanities Council
Johnson County Fairgrounds – we gave $1500 for electrical improvements
Little Miss Wyoming – we sponsored Buffalo native Mariah Robinson
Music – we booked the Younger Brothers for the Main Street Block Party during Crazy Nights & Crazy Days
ETC – we’re always open to donate for various civic ventures as the need arises
